Merry X Mas Eve!!!!

We're having a great Christmas Eve! I've been cooking all day and enjoying every second of it. By the time dinner was ready, most of us we're too full to eat. Thank you for the delicious sausage rolls Ev!! We've also been rocking out to classic Christmas tunes. Pretty soon we're going to put our cookies out for Santa, a carrot out for Rudolf, and then tuck the girlies into bed. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Today we're just taking it easy. I'm recovering from a horrible stomach flu that hit me in full force yesterday. Brodie was working and my mom was busy, so I was left to fend for myself. I'm sure most of you know how rough it can be taking care of children when your that sick. It's pretty much living hell. So I'm very grateful that I'm feeling better today!!!! Makenna was a big help. She made her own peanut butter sandwiches for lunch and even changed Saige's bum for me (with a little help, but at least I didn't have to get up) She was so proud of herself. I was proud of her too. Now she wants to do everything herself. She made her own peanut butter and jam sandwich for breakfast this morning. I'm liking this!! She's becoming quite the help. This afternoon she folded two loads of laundry for me. If you look at the last picture, she has all of brodie's clothes stacked in a neat pile topped with rolled up socks. She's so cute.

Poor Saige was fighting sleep really hard today and ended up passing out in her chair.
