Newcastle Island Trip

Yesterday the three of us spent the day over on Newcastle. It was a beautiful day for it!! We had a picnic and checked out the sea life. The water was still a little cold to go all the way in, but it was nice and refreshing to walk in. Today I am going absolutely insane!! The new owners of the house took over and are tearing up the floors upstairs with what sounds like a hammer and a chisel. I can barely hear myself think, so I must go!

Ultrasound 22 weeks

Here are the new ultrasound pictures. So sorry that it took me so long to post them Vashty!! They are a little hard to make out.. in the first one the baby is looking at us straight on, the second one is a profile shot with its little leggy's up in the air, and in the third one I believe that baby is rubbing its eyes... others say it's sucking its thumb... the hand looks a little high for that to me. We're planning on getting a 3D ultrasound done in about 4 weeks, so those pictures should be a little more interesting and easier to make out!!!

Pokeypine

Makenna and I got a little crafty last night and made this cute little porcupine, or "pokeypine" as she likes to call him. The instructions called for spaghetti noodles which I realized was pretty silly because once the moisture soaked into them, they all started to break off.

Here's Makenna and Bro having fun with a camping chair bag. I love the last picture because she looks like a little worm.

Fun with Hailey

Today we went down to the water front with Auntie Heather and Hailey. The girls had alot of fun together. They made some sand castles and splashed around in the water a little, and then we had some hotdogs and went for a walk. Don't they look cute in their summer gear?

20 Weeks

We're half way there!! For all of you who we don't get to see, here is an update on my giant growing belly. Boy or girl?? Any guesses?

Crab Hunting

On Wednesday morning Makenna and I went down to Departure Bay to look for crabs. We had a great time. Makenna turned over about 50 rocks, and rock number 50 was just as exciting for her as rock number 1. After we had enough (we meaning I), we walked over to the park and played for a little while. We ended the morning with a picnic in the back yard and a much needed nap!

Mr. Froggy

Yesterday Brodie found this frog trapped in a tub while he was working. He left him in there and brought Makenna back to rescue him. She was so excited. I don't think she's ever seen a real frog before.. especially one that big! I don't think I have either. He was so big and cute!! We played with him for a little bit, and then we took him to Cathers lake and set him free.
